According to the latest customs data, China imported 783.1 tons of hydrochloric acid in November 2025, marking a 14.4% year-on-year increase. The primary import sources were: Taiwan, China (451.9 tons, accounting for 57.7%); and Japan (312.3 tons, accounting for 39.9%). In November 2025, China exported 3,088.5 tons of hydrochloric acid, marking a 146.1% year-on-year increase. Major export destinations included: Indonesia (920.0 tons, 29.8% share); Guinea (920.0 tons, 29.8% share); and Australia (250.2 tons, 8.1% share).
From January to November 2025, China imported 7,350.2 tons of hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid), a decrease of 8.4% year-on-year. Major import sources were: Taiwan, China (4,822.2 tons, accounting for 65.6%); Japan (2,358.3 tons, accounting for 32.1%). From January to November 2025, China exported 28,035.4 tons of hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid), a year-on-year increase of 76.3%. Major export destinations: Indonesia (7,943.9 tons, 28.3% share); Cambodia (3,977.8 tons, 14.2% share); Guinea (3,784.6 tons, 13.5% share).
