Product Description
Ethyl acetate is a colorless, transparent, volatile organic solvent with a fruity aroma, featuring the chemical formula C₄H₈O₂. It is commonly used as a solvent in paints, inks, adhesives, and flavorings.
It is slightly soluble in water but miscible with most organic solvents, exhibiting excellent solubility. It finds extensive applications in chemical engineering, food flavorings, pharmaceuticals, and laboratories.
Storage
Ethyl acetate should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse, away from sources of fire and heat, protected from direct sunlight, and kept separate from oxidizers, acids, and other incompatible substances.

Transportation
1. Ethyl acetate is a flammable liquid (UN Number 1173, Class 3). During transportation, it must be packaged in compliant explosion-proof containers (e.g., 200L steel-plastic drums or IBC ton containers) and adhere to relevant dangerous goods transport regulations (e.g., ADR, IMDG, DOT).
2. During transportation, avoid exposure to high temperatures, open flames, and static electricity. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area away from oxidizers and ignition sources. Ensure packaging remains intact with clear labeling, and implement necessary safety precautions and emergency response measures.
