Product Description
Hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) is a colorless, transparent chemical liquid with strong oxidizing properties. It decomposes into water and oxygen at room temperature and is widely used in disinfection, bleaching, chemical synthesis, and other fields.
Depending on purity and application, hydrogen peroxide is categorized into industrial-grade, food-grade, electronic-grade, and pharmaceutical-grade variants. Electronic-grade hydrogen peroxide, characterized by its exceptionally high purity, is primarily used for precision cleaning and oxidation processes in semiconductor and microelectronics manufacturing.
Storage
Hydrogen peroxide should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated warehouse, away from direct sunlight and high temperatures to prevent accelerated decomposition.
Storage containers must be made of corrosion-resistant materials (such as glass, polyethylene, or stainless steel) and kept separate from reducing agents, organic substances, and metal powders to ensure safe and stable storage.
Transportation
Hydrogen peroxide is classified as a hazardous chemical. During transportation, it must be contained in corrosion-resistant, leak-proof packaging and protected from high temperatures, light exposure, and violent shaking to prevent decomposition and associated risks.
Based on concentration and hazard level, hydrogen peroxide is typically classified for transport as UN 2014 (below 50%) or UN 2015 (above 50%). It must comply with relevant regulations (such as GHS, ADR, IMDG, etc.) and be labeled with corrosive or oxidizing hazard markings.
