Customs statistics show that in December 2025, China's imports of gum resin reached 10,500 metric tons, marking a 36.50% increase month-on-month but a 13.94% decrease year-on-year. Exports totaled 8,500 metric tons, down 5.89% month-on-month and 5.30% year-on-year. From January to December 2025, China's cumulative import volume of paste resins reached 105,900 metric tons, down 0.96% year-on-year, while cumulative exports totaled 119,300 metric tons, up 10.27% year-on-year.
This year, China's paste resin imports primarily originated from Taiwan, China (42,100 metric tons, accounting for 39.79%); Thailand (18,900 metric tons, 17.83%); Germany (12,900 metric tons, 12.20%); Malaysia (12,800 metric tons, 12.11%); and South Korea (10,300 metric tons, 9.69%). China's main export destinations for gum resins were Russia (72,800 tons, 61.02% of total exports), Pakistan (7,000 tons, 5.89%), Vietnam (5,200 tons, 4.34%), South Korea (4,700 tons, 3.90%), and Uzbekistan (4,000 tons, 3.35%).
