According to the latest customs data, China imported 825.1 tons of hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid) in September 2025, marking a year-on-year increase of 116.2%. The primary import sources were: Taiwan Province of China at 505.6 tons, accounting for 61.3%; and Japan at 298.9 tons, accounting for 36.2%. In September 2025, China exported 3,464.6 tons of hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid), marking a 103.2% year-on-year increase. Major export destinations included: Indonesia (2,000.0 tons, 57.7% share); Malaysia (455.4 tons, 13.1% share); and Hong Kong, China (193.0 tons, 5.6% share).
From January to September 2025, China imported 6,015.9 tons of hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid), a decrease of 8.8% year-on-year. Major import sources were: Taiwan Province of China at 3,954.6 tons (65.7%); Japan at 1,927.1 tons (32.0%). From January to September 2025, China exported 21,384.8 tons of hydrogen chloride (hydrochloric acid), a year-on-year increase of 58.7%. Major export destinations: Indonesia (5,335.8 tons, 25.0% share); Cambodia (3,908.8 tons, 18.3% share); Guinea (2,335.6 tons, 10.9% share).
