According to the latest customs statistics, China imported 14,000 metric tons of PVC powder in January 2026, a year-on-year decrease of 39.6%; in February, imports totaled 8,000 metric tons, a month-on-month decrease of 39.5% and a year-on-year decrease of 47.2%; cumulative imports of PVC powder for January–February reached 22,000 metric tons, a 42.7% decrease compared to the same period last year. In January 2026, China exported 285,000 metric tons of PVC powder, an increase of 1.8% year-on-year; in February, exports reached 448,000 metric tons, an increase of 56.8% month-on-month and 35.8% year-on-year; cumulative exports of PVC powder for January–February totaled 733,000 metric tons, an increase of 20.2% compared to the same period last year.

From January to February, China’s imports of PVC powder primarily came from the United States, Japan, Taiwan, Germany, and South Korea, accounting for 50.8%, 26.4%, 17.0%, 4.0%, and 0.6% of the total, respectively; Exports were primarily destined for India, Vietnam, Uzbekistan, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan, accounting for 37.8%, 5.7%, 5.6%, 4.9%, and 3.6% of the total, respectively.
